What is Mantle Journey?

Mantle Journey is an open-access incentive program designed to distribute rewards to participants in Mantle Ecosystem, including participating protocols and users. It helps to bridge ecosystems, projects and users on a one-stop platform, allowing users to engage in the protocols they're interested in, and for protocols to find and identify their power users — all under an incentivized structure.

Currently, participants earn Mantle Journey (MJ) Miles by completing various activities and tasks outlined by the program. These include transactions, Total Value Locked (TVL), testnet contributions, delegation and voting, completion of social events and also, users' participation in bridging or liquidity interactions with verified protocols on the list.

We are now inviting all Mantle Ecosystem protocols to join us on this journey. Your protocol will be able to:

• Connect with the thriving and active Mantle community
• Receive $MNT incentives based on your leaderboard ranking on Mantle Journey and leverage a 10M $MNT reward pool allocation to channel it towards user growth
• Set up quests more easily on Mantle Network with embedded anti-sybil user addresses verification to reduce the risk of sybil attacks

10M $MNT Reward Pool Incentive for Protocols

A grand total of 25M $MNT has been allocated for Mantle Journey Season Alpha, where 15M $MNT will be distributed to users based on the accumulated MJ Miles, and the remaining 10M $MNT will be won by participating protocols that rank up high across two protocol leaderboards equally.

For all rewards won by the highest ranking protocols on either leaderboard:

• 50% will be distributed to protocol teams ranked on the leaderboards
• The remaining 50% will be redistributed to the protocols' user incentives in future Mantle Journey seasons

Protocol Leaderboards: Transactions & TVL

Onboarded protocols that are part of the Mantle Journey Program will be ranked on two separate leaderboards based on transactions and TVL respectively calculated from Aug. 29, 2023 onwards, converted into MJ Miles. Each leaderboard will feature a total of 5M $MNT in rewards.

• Transactions: For every transaction executed on Mantle Network Mainnet via the protocol, the protocol will accrue 10 MJ Miles.

*If users interact with multiple pools in 1 transaction, only 1 unique transaction would be counted.

• TVL: (1) Every $500 worth of $ETH, $USDC, $USDT, $wBTC, $xETH and $xUSD locked in the protocol from Mantle Network Mainnet will accrue 1 MJ Mile, and (2) every 500 $MNT and/or $WMNT locked in the protocol from Mantle Network Mainnet will accrue 1 MJ Mile.

*If users interact with multiple liquidity pool contracts through an aggregator, only the direct smart contract would be counted.

Please note that transactions and TVL will earn MJ Miles based on a cumulative, daily basis.

There will be a total of 50 winners per leaderboard and the payout per ranked protocol has been outlined in the chart above. Protocols can rank on both leaderboards if they fulfil each leaderboard's conditions to accrue miles.

To be eligible for rewards on the transaction or TVL leaderboards, each protocol has to reach a minimum of 10,000 transactions or $50,000 worth in TVL respectively. Know-Your-Business will be required before reward distribution to comply with all applicable sanction laws, regulations and rules.

How to Participate?

For Mantle Journey to accurately index activities for calculation, participating protocols will need to register for and onboard Mantle Journey. Data is calculated retroactively from Aug. 29, 2023 onwards.
